Zanzibar Safari Blue - Full Day Excursion
The Zanzibar safari blue is a full day boat tour in traditional hand built sailing dhows finished to the very highest standards of comfort and safety. This part of your holiday mainly focuses on water safari. Safari blue has been running great days out since 1996. Zanzibar safari blue starts from Fumba village, south west of Stone Town. Our aim is to provide our customers with a truly memorable experience using the best Zanzibar has to offer, while making a positive difference to Zanzibar and it’s people.

The Activities - the Zanzibar Safari Blue
The Zanzibar Safari Blue includes dolphin safari, guided snorkeling with top quality Cressi-sub equipment, ice cold sodas, mineral water and beer, on the beach.

Mangrove Lagoon
On this part of the Safari Blue you'll get to explore the mangrove lagoon hidden inside Kwale island. A swim through the protected mangrove forest at high tide is an unforgettable Safari Blue experience.
Baobab Tree
The baobab tree is also one of the amazing sites of the Safari Blue. Here you'll climb the tree and get a great view from the top! If you are lucky you can find massive coconut crabs living inside its hollow trunk.
Sandbank
The Menai bay has several naturally occurring sandbanks with safe swimming and from where you can enjoy great snorkeling on a this excursion. Zanzibar Safari Blue takes advantage of this natural occurring. You'll get to relax under the shade and enjoy fresh coconuts and local snacks. The sand bank is one of the most loved sites of the Zanzibar Safari Blue.
Dolphins
Here the Zanzibar Safari Blue tour practices a policy of responsible dolphin safari and are lucky enough to see dolphins on 90% of our water safari. Zanzibar's Menai bay is home to two species of dolphins: Indo-Pacific Humpback and the Bottle-nose.
The Seafood Lunch
The lunch is served at our desert island restaurant, and includes a delicious Zanzibari seafood lunch with grilled fish and slipper lobster, gastronomic fruit tasting, coffee and Amarula liqueur. Then finish the Safari Blue by returning to Fumba by traditional sail.
