The oldest part of the town consists of a warren of narrow alleys to houses, shops, bazaars, and mosques. Cars are often too wide to drive down many of the maze of winding streets.

About 30 minutes by boat from Forodhani area lies Changuu, also known as Prison Island. A slight misnomer, as the ruined buildings thereon were never used to house prisoners, as was the original intention of the architects.

Recent molecular studies show the genus contains two species, the Common Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) and the Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops aduncus), instead of one. They inhabit warm and temperate seas worldwide.

This is Full Day Tour, the main Attraction being able to swim close to the dolphin, actually its swimming with the Dolphins. Being very social themselves you can even get to play with them. Situated on the southern point of the island, Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which are sighted following a short boat trip from the village.

This guided tour of three hours will take you to Jozani natural forest (it is only a natural forest in Zanzibar). The Jozani forest is located in the central east region of Zanzibar Island is the home of rare Red Colobus Monkey, which is only endemic to Zanzibar.
